Street Art Festival
This one really got her attention. I could barely pull Riley away. They were using pastels that had been ground up and mixed with water (hmmm . . . sounds like a typical day in our driveway). We must have stood there for 15 minutes at least.
I wish I could see this one finished. It's so gorgeoous already. I can only imagine how much more amazing it is going to get.

Jack the Roller Coaster

There we go! Love that smile Jack Jack! How did you get chalk on your nose though?

Ohhhhhh . . . I get it.

Riley quickly put to use some techniques she picked up from watching other artists. She loves this stuff! Reminds me of myself when I was young. Toy store? No thank you. Take me to an office supply store (back then it was Canoga Park Stationary Store)? I'm already in the car!

Riley in a spot of sunlight with her person and pig (and signature . . . she
had to sign it).

We were able to see a wonderful show put on by our friends at church. On Riley's left are her 4 year old Sunday School teachers (mother and daughter team).
Here's Jack with another member of that family. I believe she's 4. She put on quite a show! Lots of talent in that family. They actually run a local hula dance place. I would love for the kids to be able to take classes with them some time.

We were fortunate enough to see this show twice! The kids loved it and so did my mom and I.

Jack really did enjoy it. I was just lucky to get that picture above this one. He only had his ears covered for second.

The Heritage Bear! Oh wait, no it's not. Very pretty though!
