special assembly at school to honor our heroes

Mom! I get to take home Super Bee!!!

Finally! She's been waiting for this day. She probably mentioned Super Bee every day since her teacher first told her about him. She is so excited!

Well, what do you know . . . her friend Tatum got to take home her class Super Bee today, too! :o)

I had a last minute lunch date with Roo. She was very happy to be able to share it with Super Bee (literally). :o)

Almost forgot to write in our journal! We did it very quickly this morning. Followed the directions and wrote down what Riley said, but if we had more time, I would have had Riley write it herself. My fault. So much for role modeling good penmanship. I love Roo's picture though!
