Last Minute Trip to California Adventure
Having just pulled into the Disneyland parking lot, Jack looks out the window and exclaims, "That's where they're building our church!" According to Jack, wherever there's a crane, there's our church being built. He also went on to point out the fact that he could see the ocean and so forth. (Hope this isn't a sign that he has my navigational skills.)

Leave it to Nana, to make standing in a line not feel like you're standing in line. Here she is telling a story to Riley and Jack to make the wait for Playhouse Disney go by faster.

Finally, a new show at Playhouse Disney! Whew!

Very fun show! Handy Manny, Little Einsteins Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and lots more new fun!

Bubbles!

Some people are so puzzled at how I can go to California Adventure/Disneyland so frequently. It's the kids! Each time we go, there is something exciting, different and new to see, feel, here or ride that we haven't done yet. Amazing, but true. For example, here we are watching a baker cut sourdough bowls. As an added bonus, each time he finished one, he'd toss it at the window. Can you just hear Jack enjoying that? If only I had my video camera for moments such as these.

Where should we go next?

First of all, you look too old in this picture. Second of all, stop growing up on me. Third of all, I love you and have such a blast when we're together. Here we are for the first time on the "jellyfish ride."

Another new ride for us.

I'm sure all parents would agree, it's not about YOU watching the parade, it's about watching YOUR kids watch the parade.

Having been squirted with water by that new parade, we then headed off to see a new favorite show, "It's Tough to be a bug."

We only had a few hours, but oh was it fun!

Tatum has been dying to get tall enough to ride the Jellyfish ride! How fun for Riley! I agree with all you say about Disneyland! It's magical because of your kids. And they are so lucky to have such an awesome Nana!
