Riley's Kindergarten Back To School Night

Hard to believe that so early in August we are attending a Back To School Night, but apparently that's how Valencia does it. Tonight, we had an information time with the teacher while the kids got to know their new playground. After which we switched and the kids were able to spend some time in their new room with their new teacher. At the end of the night, we joined up for ice cream. Bridgeport made tonight really special for these new Kindergarteners. I think that after having this night, the first day of school will go real smooth.

Finished the evening off with ice cream. The perfect way to end a day if you ask me. :o)

Unfortunately, tonight was also Jack's "Meet Your Teacher" night at Sunshine Preschool. Dad got to take him and they had a lot of fun meeting Miss Blessy, finding his cubby and spending time afterwards with his friend Tia. Gavin sent me pictures on my phone during Jack's evening so I was able to see Jack while I was with Riley. Hopefully, I'll learn soon how to get those pix off my phone so I can post them here. It's going to be a great year. Wow. Preschool and Kindergarten. Sigh. Sniff. Sniff.
