Jack's 1st Day of Pre-School

Jack was a little confused as to why we were taking Riley to school first since it was his first day of school. Even when he understood, however, he still insisted on carrying in his lunch box as we went to drop Riley off. He was so excited to start school!

When I asked Jack to stand next to the classroom sign, he said, "Here, Mom, how about you take a picture of me looking in?" That is a definite sign that he knows my picture taking style. (This happens to be the same room that Riley had for her first year of pre-school, too! :o)

Jack and Ms. Blessy

Obvious, but Jack was very bothered that he had to wear this. "It hurts my neck." "I don't want to." That's pretty much what he's thinking and saying while I took this photo.

Nothing says distraction like a fish puppet.

2 of Jack's closest friends started Pre-School today, too. Above is Connor and below, the ever-adorable Tia.

Bye! (I'm good. You can leave now.)

He didn't say that, but we could tell he was fine and ready. Miss Blessy said he had a great first day!

Hi Mom! You surprised me!

Jack's very first school art.

Gotta love it when the teacher makes it so easy to preserve memories. Thank you Miss Blessy!
