Pumpkin Carving and Trunk or Treating

Riley and I cleaned out and cleaned up . . . (Jack wsn't into it.)

The carving master carved up and cleaned up. :o)

(but he was into this! :o)

Pardon me . . . I coudn't resist.
Ask Jack what he can do with his tail if you see him on Friday.

We had so much fun! We went from to trunk to trunk collecting treats and occasionally stumbled upon games to play while we were at it. Can't believe we missed this last year. We will definitely make this a part of our "Halloween Routine" for as many years as the kids want to do it.

Our friend Sarah is so much fun and obviously really gets into it. Isn't her costume fanstastic! Great job Sarah, I mean Sally! It was fun to be able to trunk or treat at your car.

I've seen these a dozen times, but never saw it where it was set up as an activity for the kids to do. Great idea!

So cute! So clever! So fun!

I forgot what they called this station, but basically if the kids reached into the "worms" and dug around, they could find a toy. I knew there was no way Jack would do it, but being the clever one that he is, he solicited Nana to help.

Well, he sort of did it. :o) Mr. Tough Guy who doesn't like to get dirty. Gotta love it.
